True is an online dating service that screens all communicating members against the largest database of criminal records on the Internet. True offers a free TRUE Compatibility Test that identifies 99 distinct factors found in successful relationships.
Major online dating service True claims that they are committed to “providing a safer, smarter way for you to find your soul mate.” The two highly promoted features on True are their criminal screening of members and their free TRUE Compatibility Test. True is also unique in the fact that the online dating service tends to appeal to the physical and sexual attraction single men and women feel rather than a pure focus on creating and building strong relationships.
True’s criminal background check involves screening all communicating members against one of the largest criminal records databases online. True screens each member for U.S. felony and sexual offense convictions. Those with a conviction are not able to communicate with True.com members. True also confirms that all members of their service are single and not married.
The TRUE Compatibility Test is free to take and provides online daters with a profile based on its questions. True claims that their compatibility test identifies 99 distinct factors found in successful relationships. True states that you will learn more about yourself, plus you’ll be that much closer to finding your special someone by taking the compatibility test.
Through their advertising campaigns and certain features on their online dating site, True appears to be trying to appeal to young single men and women who are interesting in a fling or casual dating. This is apparent in the second test that True offers online dating singles. The second test that the True online dating service offers is a Sexploration Test. The Sexploration Test asks singles questions about their sexual preferences to find out what type of person would be sexually compatible. While they do offer a test to find out who might be relationship material as well, it is not as heavily promoted and you first must register before taking this test.
True’s Internet dating service, launched in 2003 and previously called True Beginnings, claims to provide continual feedback, advice and counsel to the members of its online dating service, in order to help guide them through every stage of their relationships. Members of True can also read advice from psychologist Dr. James Houran.
If you are interested in joining the True community of singles looking for a date online, you can visit True.com and sign up free. You can then create your login information and complete the demographics and preferences questionnaire, plus take the True Compatibility Test, a process that takes about 30 minutes to complete. You will receive your test results with a personality analysis plus profile of your ideal partner. True will then use the True Compatibility Index to scan for and suggest compatible partners. If you are a paying member you can communicate with potential matches through email, forums and chat. If True seems like an online community you can rely on, check out their database of singles for a possible match.
